Botanical Space Styling for Modern Indian Homes
We transform balconies, living rooms, and office corners into breathing, living landscapes. By blending heritage-inspired decor with carefully selected foliage, we create spaces that feel less like design projects and more like personal sanctuaries.
A tranquil corner in the 'Sun Room' project. A stone Buddha statue is surrounded by lush tropical foliage like Monstera and Philodendron, with mounted orchids and ferns against a black marble wall, creating a space for peace.
For this entrance balcony makeover, we blended the client's existing large plants with new statement pieces. We created clusters along the peripheral wall with stone decor to prepare the home for the festive season without cluttering the view.
The view into the 'Sun Room' through custom arched doors. This space was designed to be a peaceful escape, a garden in the sky filled with hanging plants, a lotus pond, and curated botanical arrangements.
A wider view of the serene Buddha installation in the 'Sun Room'. The composition includes a variety of textures and forms, from broad-leafed plants to delicate orchids, all working together to create a feeling of natural harmony.
This corner of the 'Sun Room' shows how we integrate architectural elements with botanical design. The arched wall niches hold small idols, complemented by a large ponytail palm and a hanging string of pearls plant.
Another perspective of the 'Sun Room', highlighting the interplay of light and shadow. A hanging fern and other trailing plants create a layered effect, while a stone elephant and brass singing bowl add to the meditative atmosphere.
Morning rituals in the 'Sun Room'. This space was designed to awaken the body, mind, and soul, a place to connect with your 'Plan De Vida' or soul's purpose, enriched by the sun's warmth and surrounding greenery.
About this collection
We start by analyzing your light and humidity, not just picking pretty plants. For our recent 'Sun Room' project on the 20th floor, we did not just add greenery; we worked with the existing stone walls and light angles to build an ecosystem that thrives indoors, using moss mounts and temple-inspired idols to ground the arrangement.
Bringing the Wild Indoors
Most plant styling focuses on aesthetics, but we prioritize the long-term health of your living environment. Whether you are dealing with a shaded balcony in JP Nagar or a high-rise apartment in Mysuru, our goal is to create a rhythm between the plants and the architecture.
Our Process
- Site Assessment: We visit your space to check light levels, airflow, and humidity. This determines whether we suggest high-maintenance exotics or hardy ferns and epiphytes.
- Material Selection: We often integrate stone sculptures, terracotta, or wooden elements into our green installations. This adds a layer of depth, ensuring the decor holds its own even when the plants are not in a blooming cycle.
- Living Installations: From vertical gardens to 'hanging sky' arrangements, we anchor plants using techniques that allow roots to breathe, mimicking how they would naturally grow on trees.
Why Heritage Matters
We believe a home should reflect where you come from. By incorporating elements like traditional Tulasi Katte, stone deities, or brass accents, we ground your modern home in South Indian traditions. It is not about filling a room with pots; it is about creating a space where you can disconnect, breathe, and find a bit of tranquility in the middle of a busy city.
Maintenance
We are honest about what it takes to keep these installations alive. We will always tell you if a space needs a humidifier or if a specific plant will struggle in your corner. Our goal is to leave you with a thriving ecosystem, not a chore.
