Our Process: Creating 3D Perspective Art
Wondering how we turn flat walls into deep, immersive worlds? We take you through our hands-on sculpting process, where marble powder and fiberglass meet forced perspective to create art you can almost walk into.
This is where it all begins. Watch my artists at work, hand-sculpting, molding, and painting the intricate details that define each piece. This hands-on process ensures that every artwork is a true original.
This video breaks down the illusion. It explains how I create artworks that feel incredibly deep but are physically only a few inches thick. The pieces are made from durable, weatherproof materials suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
A time-lapse showing the transformation of an empty space into my finished exhibition booth. This demonstrates the entire setup process, from bare walls to a fully realized gallery showcasing a range of my 3D murals and sculptures.
A quick summary of what I do. My services include 3D perspective art, custom wall murals, GRC facades, and standalone sculptures, all of which can be fully customized to fit your vision and space.
About The Godai Arts Process: From Concept to Creation
Everything here begins in our Andheri studio, where we hand-sculpt designs using marble powder and high-density materials. We prioritize durability and ease of use, so while your wall looks like it has infinite depth, it is actually contained within a 5-inch footprint. This means you get a heavy, stone-like aesthetic without the structural weight or maintenance issues of real masonry.
How We Build Your Vision
1. Concept and Planning It starts with your space. Whether you need a facade for a commercial showroom or a spiritual corner at home, we map out the perspective angles first. We calculate exactly how to trick the eye so that even a standard wall feels like a vast corridor or a jungle scene.
2. Hand-Sculpting and Material Selection We do not use mass-produced molds. Every texture is hand-carved. We use a high-density PU Foam core coated with a blend of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and marble dust. This gives the installation the rugged, timeless look of stone but keeps it lightweight and weather-resistant. This combination is why our work lasts outdoors just as well as it does indoors.
3. Modular Construction To keep our time on-site minimal, we fabricate the artwork in segments at our Andheri studio. This allows us to focus on the fine detailing of ornaments, biological textures, or architectural motifs in a controlled environment.
4. Site Assembly and Lighting Once the segments reach your site, we assemble them into a seamless monolithic unit. We integrate pre-fitted channels for your LED lighting during this phase, ensuring that shadows fall correctly to enhance the 3D effect. The final finish involves industrial-grade automotive coatings, which makes the surface washable and prevents the artificial gloss often seen in cheaper decor.
Why 5 Inches? We call this 'Forced Perspective.' By controlling the relief depth (typically 5 to 6 inches), we create enough shadow variance for the human eye to perceive distance, without taking up valuable floor space in your room.
