Our Creative Journey: From Initial Sketch to Final Installation
Every wall has a story. See how we turn sketches and fabric textures into one-of-a-kind murals through our studio’s collaborative design process.
This video explains my digital design process, which begins with understanding your vision. From the initial brief and mood boards to detailed hand illustrations, I refine every aspect to ensure the final design resonates perfectly.
See how our products come to life in five steps. This video outlines our entire process: Brainstorming, Moodboarding, Layout & Site Check, Sampling, and finally, Printing & Installation.
A glimpse into the creative journey behind every project. This video shows the flurry of ideas, site visits, sampling approvals, and teamwork that happens behind the scenes to bring a design from concept to reality.
Collaboration is key. Here, I am working with my team at the studio, reviewing digital layouts and making adjustments to a custom mural design on the computer before it goes for client approval.
This is what makes a design truly bespoke. For this project, the client wanted to include her family members' names on the branches of a tree. This video shows the installation of that deeply personal and emotional wall mural.
A snapshot of a productive day at the studio. Here, we are reviewing different colorway samples for a wallpaper directly on the client's wall to see how the light and space affect the design before making a final decision.
Have you wondered what kind of paper we use? This video takes you through some of our exclusive paper options, including luxurious silk textured, soft gold metallic, subtle feather-like textures, and artistic canvas finishes.
Designing from scratch means listening to you. This video shows some of our client requests, from adding palm trees and family names to a wallpaper to matching colors with a rug, showcasing our fully customized approach.
Our process begins with Step 1: Site Check & Brief, where we understand your needs and vision. This is followed by Step 2: Moodboarding, where we craft a visual concept that brings the idea to life.
The next steps in our process are Step 3: Designing & Approval, our most experimental phase, and Step 4: Sampling & Installation, where we fine-tune the details and our skilled installers bring it all together.
About Our Creative Journey
We do not just print designs; we engineer them for your specific space. Before any mural goes to production, we perform a site check and provide a digital render overlaid on your wall photo, ensuring motifs avoid your light switches and furniture.
Our design process is rarely a straight line. It is a mix of sketches, chai breaks, digital trials, and site visits that help us understand the soul of your space. We approach every project through five distinct phases to ensure the final result feels like it belongs to your home.
First, we start with a brief and a site check. We look at your lighting, furniture, and the actual surface area to see how the design will breathe in the room. This prevents issues like hidden switchboards or awkward motif crops.
Next comes mood boarding. We gather color swatches and textile inspirations—often pulling from Indian crafts like Kantha or Kalamkari—to establish the mood. This is where we align our vision with yours.
Then we move to the experimental phase: designing and illustration. We take the initial concept and turn it into a detailed graphic. If you want specific details, like family names woven into a tree mural, this is where we map it out. We share digital renders for your feedback so you can see exactly how the scale works against your room layout.
Before the final print, we do sampling. We print small sections to check how the ink interacts with different paper textures, whether you chose matte, canvas, or metallic finishes. Once you approve the sample, we handle the printing and our installers bring it all together on your wall. It is a process of trial, error, and refinement, but seeing the final result fit perfectly is what makes the chaos worth it.
