Confident Voices: Preschool Show & Tell Activities
Watch our preschoolers present their favorite topics with props and passion. These monthly sessions go beyond just speaking; they are where our children build the confidence to express their own ideas clearly.
Our monsoon-themed Show & Tell was a storm of creativity. Students used colorful props to talk about the rainy season, reciting rhymes and sharing facts.
Part two of our monsoon Show & Tell, where our little stars lit up the stage with more stories, songs, and dances about the rainy season.
The theme for July was "Monsoon." Our students prepared for an unforgettable Show & Tell, learning about the water cycle, rain safety, and water conservation.
Blooming with curiosity. Our young learners shared their knowledge about plants, discussing how they grow, their different parts, and their importance to our planet.
A young student shares the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," highlighting the importance of healthy eating habits for growth and transformation.
A student presents on the Olympics, sharing fascinating facts about the world's greatest sporting event, its history, and the meaning of the Olympic rings.
About this collection
When a child participates in Show and Tell, they do not just stand up and speak. They choose a topic—like the water cycle or the Olympics—research it with our guidance, and create their own visual props. This process teaches them to organize their thoughts, engage an audience, and take pride in what they know before they ever step onto our stage.
At Global Montessori Centre and Play Home, we integrate these presentations into our daily work cycles. It is not performance for the sake of it; it is an extension of the Montessori philosophy that emphasizes independence and intellectual curiosity. By allowing children to explore themes like the monsoon, plant biology, or sports history, we turn academic concepts into personal stories. This approach helps shy children find their voice and encourages outgoing ones to listen and learn from their peers.
We invite you to visit our HSR Layout campus to see how we blend these public speaking exercises with our standard curriculum. Whether your child is in Playgroup or Mont 3, these activities build the foundation for communication skills that last well beyond preschool. If you are exploring preschool options in HSR Layout, come observe how our students articulate their ideas with clarity and confidence. We believe that when children are given the tools to research and present, they do not just memorize facts; they internalize them, developing a genuine love for learning.
Global Montessori Centre and Play Home
We run our Montessori programs with the belief that childhood is not a race; it is about building a solid foundation of character. We guide children to find their own voices, whether they are speaking about the rain or the Olympics, ensuring they feel secure enough to express themselves freely.
