Professional Makeup for Brand Collaborations & Editorial Shoots
Behind the lens, precision is everything. I work closely with brands and photographers to craft looks that translate perfectly on screen, from bridal campaigns to high-fashion features.
It was an honor to collaborate with Manyavar for their Bridal Launch. My role was to create makeup that embodied the elegance and tradition of the Manyavar bride.

About this collection
Shooting for a brand or editorial project is a different ballgame than occasion makeup. The lights are unforgiving, and the texture has to look flawless from every angle without appearing heavy or unnatural. I specialize in layering techniques that hold up under harsh studio lighting while keeping skin looking like skin. Whether it's a bridal launch or a high-fashion look, I ensure the makeup enhances the vision of the shoot without distracting from the outfit or the story we are telling.
Precision for the Camera
When I collaborate with brands like Manyavar or work on editorial features, the goal is always clarity. You cannot hide behind heavy filters. Every choice—from the specific silicone-based primer to the density of the blush—is made based on how it will interact with the camera lens and studio lighting.
My Approach to Shoots
My process for brand shoots begins with a deep understanding of the campaign's theme. Is it a vintage bridal look or a modern, edgy fashion spread?
- Skin prep: I focus on hydration and texture correction. If the skin is not prepped correctly, it will show up on high-definition cameras as cakey or uneven.
- Color Theory: In editorial work, we often play with contrast. I use my knowledge of color wheels to ensure the makeup pops against the outfit, particularly for diverse lighting setups.
- Versatility: I am comfortable working with both female and male models. My work for House of Dmask, for example, required subtle grooming techniques that enhance features for camera-readiness without looking like 'makeup' was applied.
Why Collaborate?
I bring more than just makeup to a shoot. My background as an educator means I understand the 'why' behind the look, which allows me to work seamlessly with photographers and stylists. We troubleshoot on the fly—if the lighting changes or the model’s skin behaves differently, I adjust the application instantly. I don't just apply products; I build a look that maintains its integrity for hours under the lights, ensuring you get the perfect shot every single time.
