My Approach to Shoots

My process for brand shoots begins with a deep understanding of the campaign's theme. Is it a vintage bridal look or a modern, edgy fashion spread?

• Skin prep: I focus on hydration and texture correction. If the skin is not prepped correctly, it will show up on high-definition cameras as cakey or uneven.
• Color Theory: In editorial work, we often play with contrast. I use my knowledge of color wheels to ensure the makeup pops against the outfit, particularly for diverse lighting setups.
• Versatility: I am comfortable working with both female and male models. My work for House of Dmask, for example, required subtle grooming techniques that enhance features for camera-readiness without looking like 'makeup' was applied.
