Traditional Karate Training in Parel
Step into our dojo at Hindveer Seva Sangh, Parel. We combine the legacy of Grand Master Ramesh Parab with a disciplined, community-focused training style for all ages.
In our dojo, strength knows no gender. We believe in empowering everyone, and this is what it looks like when our girls and boys train with equal spirit and power. This is the essence of our training philosophy.
This is our foundation, our inspiration: Grand Master Ramesh Parab Sir. A Limca Book of World Record Holder and a member of the Guinness World Records, he is the brand and the guiding force behind our academy.
Karate is not just for the dojo. Here, we show the practical application of a Jodan Uke, or face-level block, against a stick attack. This is how we train you to overcome fear and defend yourself in real-life situations.
This is a demonstration of focused power and technique, known as tameshiwari or breaking. Through dedicated practice, our students learn to channel their energy to break through physical barriers like these bricks.
Hard work deserves recognition. This is a glimpse into our belt and certificate distribution ceremony, where we celebrate the progress and dedication of our students after their grading exams. Every new belt is a milestone earned.
Discipline at our academy extends beyond techniques. Here, our Sensei teaches the traditional methods of folding a karate uniform, or 'gi'. This practice, called Shikaku no Gi, instills respect for the uniform and the art itself.
Our training builds more than just martial artists; it builds athletes. We are proud of our student, Yash Mhaprolkar, who won first place at Mumbai's Biggest Fitness Championship, showcasing the incredible stamina and strength developed through karate.
This is a look into a special session for our Black Belts, led by Renshi Anand Sir. It shows the path of continuous learning and dedication that our senior students and instructors follow, always refining their art.
About Featured
Our Parel dojo is not a fancy, air-conditioned studio. It is a traditional community space where you will train on mat flooring alongside 20+ other students. We focus on the core of martial arts—kihon and kata—which means you will learn the exact same techniques, terminology, and etiquette that our seniors have been mastering for decades.
Karate-Do is about more than just physical movement; it is about building a foundation that lasts. Whether you are a beginner stepping onto the mat for the first time or a student looking to master complex kata patterns, our sessions are designed to push you beyond your limits. We believe in the rule: 'The more you sweat in the dojo, the less you bleed in combat.'
We structure our classes to ensure steady progress. You will start with the basics of stance (Kihon) and move into forms (Kata) that teach flow and focus. For those who want more, we offer competitive sparring (Kumite) training and advanced modules like weapons (Kobudo) and acrobatics. Our training extends beyond the dojo, with residential camps and beach conditioning sessions that build camaraderie among our students.
We also prioritize safety and inclusivity. We run specific workshops for women and visually impaired individuals, ensuring that the skills of self-defense are accessible to everyone in our community. Every student is part of our family, and whether you are training for fitness, discipline, or tournament-level fighting, you get the same dedication from our Senseis. If you are serious about learning a traditional art in a supportive environment, come visit us at Hindveer Seva Sangh.
