Heirloom Jewellery Revamping: Turn Old Gold into New Masterpieces

This is how a simple chat turns into a magical transformation. I converted a client's old, unused diamond set into an elaborate, contemporary necklace by adding beautifully carved citrine stones and emerald beads, along with a matching bracelet.

Why have one when you can have two? I deconstructed a single 22kt gold necklace and skillfully redesigned it into two separate, beautiful pieces: a long necklace with an elaborate pendant and a heavy, statement choker, creating a complete and versatile new set.

A mother's love shines through this beautiful revamp. For her daughter's wedding, my client wanted to wear her old 22kt gold Chandan Haar. I gave it a heavier, more celebratory look by adding kundan pieces and designed a matching choker to complete her stunning mother-of-the-bride ensemble.

Sometimes a revamp can be truly dramatic and unexpected. I transformed an old pearl necklace into a completely different piece: a statement maang tika with a mathapatti, enhanced with polkis and vibrant stones, plus a pair of matching earrings.

Here, I took an old polki pendant and reimagined it as the centerpiece for a grand new necklace, intricately weaving it with pearls and emerald beads. To complete the look, I also designed a matching statement bracelet, turning one old piece into a fabulous new set.

This project was about blending tradition with a modern aesthetic. I took a client's traditional 22kt gold necklace and upgraded it by adding a custom polki pendant with carved rubies, creating a striking piece that respects its origins while feeling fresh and new.
