About My Exclusive Collections
Every collection I design is built to solve a specific problem: finding jewellery that looks traditional enough for Indian festivities but feels light enough to actually wear all day. In these signature lines, I often use a 92.5 hallmark silver base with Moissanite Polkis to replicate the exact grandeur of heavy gold bridal sets, but at a price point and weight that makes sense for modern life. Whether you are browsing the temple-inspired Dakshinaya range or the oxidized Tribua earrings, you are getting pieces designed to be durable, sweat-resistant, and versatile.
My design philosophy comes down to one thing: making jewellery that doesn't just sit in your locker. Each collection here at Gewels is crafted with a different energy in mind.
The Signature Collections
- Dakshinaya: My tribute to South Indian temple design. I use intricate gold filigree, ruby, and emerald-colored stones to capture that traditional grandeur, perfect for silk sarees.
- Rajwadi Bride: This is for the bride who wants royal opulence. I use Syndicate Polki, real pearls, and detailed meenakari work, ensuring the set looks heavy and regal while being structured for weight distribution.
- Tribua: This line is my take on oxidized 92.5 silver. It is moody, artistic, and designed to add an edge to your everyday ethnic wear.
- Mahiway: My party-wear line. Think bold, statement western earrings and modern cuts that are made to stand out in a crowd.
Why My Clients Choose These Designs
When you see these photos, you are looking at more than just stones. You are looking at structural design. I am GIA-certified, and I insist on using CAD design for structural integrity in my heavy pieces. For example, my Rajwadi chokers use velvet backing on the reverse side to prevent skin irritation and sweat accumulation, so you can dance at your sangeet without worrying about your jewellery shifting or hurting.
If you see something you love here but want it in a different colour or material, we can easily customise it. I welcome you to my studio in Gamdevi, Mumbai, to try these pieces on. If you are not in the city, we do virtual consultations to help you pick the right size and style for your face shape and outfit.
