About The Grind: Posing, Pushing & Perfecting
Posing isn't just about showing off your physique, it is the final test that reveals if your conditioning is actually contest-ready. In our sessions, I will force you to hold these mandatory poses until you are shaking because that is exactly when we see where your weak points are hiding.
Most guys spend hours lifting, but they lose the trophy because they can't control their muscles on stage. My sessions at Reefit Gym go beyond just counting reps. We focus on the 'Condition King' approach: muscle separation, hardness, and the ability to hold a pose under pressure.
Why Posing Matters
When you are under the bright lights, your adrenaline spikes. If you haven't practiced your routine, your physique will look flat, no matter how hard you trained. We will go through:
- Mandatory Poses: Mastering the basics of front double bicep, side chest, and more.
- Peak Week Posing: Learning how to control your breathing and muscle engagement when your calories are low and your energy is depleted.
- Feedback: I identify which muscle groups we need to target to balance your frame.
If you want to look stage-ready, you have to train like a champion even when the gym is empty. We don't do shortcuts. We do the work, we practice the routine, and we show up to dominate. Whether you are prepping for a local show or the Amateur Olympia, the level of intensity remains the same. If you are ready to get to work, let's start.
