Royal Fort and Palace Wedding Decor in Rajasthan and NCR
We bring 40 years of experience to transforming historic forts and palaces into grand wedding venues. See how we style destination celebrations with heritage charm.
A classic royal wedding setup we created within the courtyard of a heritage palace. The decor features a soft pink color palette, a beautifully draped mandap, and a canopy of fairy lights, transforming the historic space into a fairytale wedding venue.
An enchanting entrance we designed for a wedding at Tijara Fort Palace in Alwar. We used flowing pink and white drapes complemented by lush floral arrangements to create a grand welcome that respects the heritage of the venue.
The exterior of Tijara Fort Palace decorated for a daytime wedding event. We used traditional marigold garlands and subtle lighting to highlight the architectural beauty of the fort, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
A daytime Mehendi function held in a palace courtyard, featuring decor inspired by Rajasthani block prints. The custom-printed umbrellas and tablecloths, paired with bright pink drapes, created a festive and culturally rich setting.
About Royal Fort & Palace Weddings
Working in heritage sites like Tijara Fort or palace courtyards is different from setting up in a standard banquet hall. We avoid heavy scaffolding that could damage century-old walls. Instead, we use custom-built, freestanding structures that align with the existing architectural arches. This means you get the grandeur of a palace backdrop without risking the property or your security deposit.
When you choose a heritage property for your wedding, the biggest mistake is over-decorating and hiding the venue's natural beauty. Over my 40 years in this business, I have learned that the fort itself should be the primary decor element.
Our Approach to Palace Weddings
- Architectural Lighting: We do not rely solely on floodlights. We use architectural up-lighting on fort walls to highlight the stone texture and history, turning the building into a canvas rather than just a backdrop.
- Floral Balancing: In a palace courtyard, space is vast. We avoid thin, scattered arrangements. Instead, we focus on high-density floral installations at eye-level points—the entrance gates, the mandap, and the couple's stage—to ensure the decor feels substantial against the massive scale of the venue.
- Custom Structures: Since every palace has unique archways and flooring, we do not bring 'standard' mandaps. Our in-house team builds structures that mirror the geometry of the fort's own arches, ensuring the setup looks like a natural extension of the venue.
Locations and Logistics
We regularly manage destination weddings across the Rajasthan circuit, including Jaipur, Udaipur, Alwar, and Neemrana. Managing a destination wedding involves coordinating labor, transport, and inventory over long distances. Because we bring our own team and props from our base, you do not face the chaos of coordinating with multiple local vendors. We manage the end-to-end logistics, from unloading in the fort's narrow entryways to the final strike at the end of the event.
If you are planning a royal theme wedding or a heritage-inspired destination celebration, we recommend scheduling a site visit with us early. Understanding the venue's restrictions regarding wiring, hanging decor, and noise levels is critical for a smooth execution.
