A modern party drape needs to handle movement, which is why I never just pin and hope for the best. I use concealed pinning techniques with high-quality, thin gauge pins that hold everything in place without snagging your silk or designer fabric. Whether you are moving through a crowd or dancing, the pleats will stay consistent and the pallu will sit exactly where I set it.
Reception and party styling calls for a different approach than a traditional bridal muhurtham look. You often want a more contemporary silhouette, such as a mermaid drape, lehenga illusion, or a crisp, pinned pallu that feels effortless.
