About Our Dance Community
Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned dancer, our Sunday socials are designed to be accessible. You will find a mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Mambo, but the real focus is on the community aspect, where you can relax and enjoy the music without the pressure of a formal class environment.
We host our La Rumba socials at the We: Neighborhood terrace on Residency Road. It is an open-air setting that keeps the energy high, even on a Sunday night. We do not do dress codes or rigid rules here. The DJ plays a steady stream of Salsa and Bachata that you can groove to, regardless of your skill level.
Many of our students use these nights to practice what they learned in our weekday classes at Koramangala. If you are new to the scene, just show up and introduce yourself. The 'Furor Fam' is known for being welcoming, so you will likely find a dance partner within your first few minutes. We also mix things up with occasional workshops or themed nights throughout the month, which we announce on our social channels. If you have been hesitant about joining a dance floor, this is the environment where you can finally start.
