About La Rumba: Our Weekly Sunday Socials
Our Sunday socials at La Rumba are where the classroom practice meets the real world. Your entry ticket includes a 45 minute open level workshop to get your basics set, followed by a full night of social dancing where you can grab a drink, switch partners, and just vibe with the community.
Think of La Rumba as our weekly ritual to unwind. It is not about nailing the perfect move or competing with anyone on the floor. It is about feeling the music, shaking off the weekend, and finding your rhythm with a group of people who are just here to have a good time.
Whether you have been dancing for years or you just took your first steps in a class, you will fit right in. We keep the vibe chill and inclusive. We always start the night with a workshop covering the fundamentals of Salsa or Bachata. This helps break the ice and gives you some fresh moves to test out when the DJ kicks off the main set.
