When you have children at your wedding, they bring an unpredictable, honest energy that changes the entire atmosphere. My documentary approach means I do not expect them to sit still or pose for hours. Instead, I move around the venue, anticipating their movements and waiting for those quiet, genuine interactions that often get missed in the rush of the event.

I treat child photography as a story within a story. If a child is bored during a ceremony, that is a memory. If they are curious about a traditional ritual, that is a memory. My goal is to capture the relationship between the child and the family—the pride of a father, the protective nature of a mother, or the chaos of a sibling bond.

I work across Mumbai and frequently travel for weddings. During these events, I use natural light and minimal equipment to stay agile. My editing keeps things consistent with your broader wedding gallery—warm, cinematic tones for the highlights and moody, high-contrast black and whites for the emotional, candid moments.
