Why I Love Newborn Photography
There's something pure about newborns - the tiny fingers, those little natkhat (mischievous) smiles, and the way every moment feels brand new. I try to catch those quick, precious scenes before they're gone, so you have memories that last way beyond the first year.
Safety & Comfort Above Everything
Your baby’s safety is non-negotiable for me. I’m certified in newborn photography, so I know the right ways to keep your little one warm, comfy, and calm while we work. Don’t worry, I go super slow and careful, always listening to what the baby needs.
What to Expect in the Session
My style leans towards cozy newborn photo sessions and natural newborn portraits. Most shots happen while your baby is sleeping, swaddled in soft wraps, with props that never overpower the moment. I pay special attention to those tiny details - eyelashes, button noses, those perfect toes.
Custom Themes & Family Moments
If you want something a bit different, I’ve got a bunch of props for a themed newborn photoshoot - from festive setups to fantasy and floral looks. I love including parents and siblings, so you walk away with your first family newborn photography too.

My Story
Hey, I’m Shalaka – some say photographer, I say fotosmith. I’m hooked on capturing those tiny, blink-and-you-miss moments: a mother’s glow, a baby’s yawn, chubby cheeks, giggles. Babies grow up so fast, right? I started this to freeze those little miracles, so you can hold onto them. I’m all about fun themes too – a baby as little Kanha for Janmashtami? Pure joy. Whether in my studio or your home, comfort and safety come first.
