Flexibility and Conditioning for Stunt Performance
Flexibility is the foundation for every stunt and kick. My conditioning drills are designed to help you move with power and land safely, whether you are a beginner or a professional actor.

About Flexibility & Conditioning
Flexibility is not just about stretching; it is about building the active range of motion you need to perform without injury. We move past passive stretching and use wall-assisted drills and partner spotting to build real control. You will feel the heat because we do not just hold poses. We push for the strength and alignment that keep you moving safely on camera, ensuring your body is ready for the rigors of stunt work.
Building a Stunt-Ready Foundation
At Fly High Academy, we treat the body like an athlete's tool. If you want to pull off a clean backflip or a fight sequence, your joints need to be open and your core stable.
My approach to conditioning is different from a regular gym session. We focus on:
- Active Mobility: We do not just sit in splits. We use dynamic drills to help you gain control over your limbs, which is crucial for cinematic combat.
- Wall-Assisted Strength: You will see us using wall-assisted handstands and backbends. This isn't just about balance; it is about proper shoulder alignment and core engagement that transfers directly to stunt wire-work and acrobatics.
- Safety Through Technique: Before you ever attempt a high-impact stunt, you need to know how to fall. Our conditioning prepares your tendons and muscles to absorb impact, drastically reducing the risk of injury.
Why Conditioning Matters for Actors
Many actors come to me thinking they just need to learn choreography. They soon realize that without a base of conditioning, the moves look stiff. We build the endurance you need to repeat a sequence ten times for a camera crew without fading. Whether you are prepping for a Sandalwood action role or just want to master your body control, we provide the environment—matted floors, high ceilings, and constant spotting—to get you there.
We train at both our Banashankari and RR Nagar facilities, keeping the groups small enough so that I can personally spot your form and correct your alignment. Hogli hogli (Let it go) – come join us and see the progress for yourself.
