We are not a regular art school. At our Gurukul, art is a sadhana—a disciplined practice. Here is a glimpse into how we nurture creativity, rooted in tradition and devoid of pressure.

We believe art is not confined to four walls. Here, a young artist from our Junior Pencil and Chai program finds inspiration in the world around her during an outdoor sketching session, learning to observe and capture life as it happens.

This is a glimpse into a typical day in our Junior Pencil and Chai class. With focused guidance from our teachers, children learn the fundamentals of drawing and self expression in a calm and structured environment.

The goal of our teaching is to unlock true expression. This expressive portrait sketch, created by our faculty, demonstrates the level of skill and emotional depth we encourage in our students' artistic development.

Our Gurukul is not for everyone, and we are clear about our principles. We are a place for those who seek a disciplined, value based approach to art, free from the pressure of competition and parental interference.

Listen to one of our students, Deepti, share her experience. She speaks about how the Fine Arts Foundation course improved her skills, discipline, and confidence, highlighting the transformative journey we foster.

Art is also about celebration. In our special workshops, children create beautiful DIY Diwali decor, connecting their creativity to our cultural traditions and the joy of the festival of lights.

A lesson from our Guru on the philosophy of sketching without an eraser. Each line is part of the journey of discovery, teaching the hand to find its rhythm and the eye to see with clarity. This is a core part of our sadhana.

About Featured

You might be surprised to see sketchbooks filled with 'mistakes'. We operate on a strict no-eraser policy. In our studio, we ask you to let those wrong lines stay because they map your learning process. It teaches your eye to observe and your hand to gain confidence without relying on the quick fix of rubbing things out. When you learn to own your lines, you learn the art of seeing.
