I use food-safe mechanics like magnets, LED circuits, and rotating bases, but I always ensure the structural integrity of the cake comes first. If you choose a levitating or moving design, please reach out at least a week in advance so I have enough time to test the mechanics and build your structure properly before I arrange for delivery.
My kitchen is where physics meets frosting. Making a cake levitate or having a train circle the base requires a different level of planning than a standard sponge. I start by engineering a stable base, usually using a mix of dense cake and ganache, so it can support the weight of motors or magnets without sagging.
