Intimate Home Event Setup (8x8 ft)
Core Backdrop Setup
- Structure: 8ft (H) x 8ft or 10ft (W) self-standing masked metal pipe frame.
- Fabric: Double-layered draping using gathered satin, net, or polysilk. Colors are customizable (e.g., Yellow/Green for Haldi, Pastel for Roka).
- Lighting: Backlit fairy light curtain behind sheer drapes or 2 LED PAR lights for wash effects.
Decor & Signage
- Floral Work: High-density artificial floral arrangement (Silk Roses, Hydrangeas, or Marigolds) arranged as a top border or L-shaped corner frame.
- Signage: Standard rental neon sign (e.g., "Better Together," "Haldi," "Oh Baby") or laser-cut wooden text.
- Flooring: Standard 6x4 ft rug or carpet to define the stage area.
Props & Seating
- Seating Decor: Decorative throw (Furry White/Grey) and 2-3 themed cushion covers for the client's existing sofa.
- Floor Props: 2-3 decorative items at the base, such as brass Urulis with floating candles or small wooden crates with artificial flowers.
Themed Haldi & Mehendi Decor with Jhoola
Themed Backdrop
- Design Options: Choice of Marigold Wall (Artificial strings), Boho Tassels, or Folk Umbrella wall.
- Dimensions: 10ft to 12ft wide setup.
- Elements: Includes Rajasthani embroidered umbrellas, dreamcatchers, or kites suspended against high-saturation drapes (Yellow, Orange, Pink).
Special Seating (Jhoola)
- Furniture: A traditional decorated Swing (Jhoola) provided for the couple instead of a standard sofa.
- Styling: Wrapped in artificial marigold garlands and cushioned with colorful ethnic bolster pillows.
Photo Booth & Props
- Photo Corner: Dedicated area featuring a decorated Bicycle, Auto-Rickshaw cutout, or Selfie Frame with oversized paper flowers.
- Floor Decor: Large brass Urlis filled with water and fresh marigold petals or floating candles.
- Ceiling: Strings of fabric tassels and floral chandeliers suspended from the ceiling (venue permitting).
Entrance
- Gate: Simple drape entry with hanging artificial marigold strings.
- Signage: Quirky themed boards (e.g., "Dulhaniya," "Haldi Vibes").
Grand Banquet Stage Decor (16-24 ft)
Banquet Stage Configuration
- Size: Suitable for stage widths ranging from 16ft to 24ft.
- Backdrop: Elaborate multi-layered fabric draping (criss-cross or pleats).

I’m Sunil Bamne, and I know how much Mumbai families love celebrating every pre-wedding function with style. My team and I handle all the decoration so you can actually enjoy your events, not just run around stressed.
What We Do
- We decorate for all pre-wedding events - Engagement, Roka, Haldi, Mehndi - at home or banquet halls.
- For engagement, I can set up floral backdrop decoration with arches, white drapes, fairy lights, or even neon signs. Want something hatke (different)? We’ve done Bohemian engagement themes with dreamcatchers and South Indian banana leaf setups.
- Haldi is all about tradition and fun. Expect lots of marigolds (genda), sunflowers, and a proper traditional Haldi setup with jhoola seating and colourful Rajasthani or Gujarati touches.
- Mehndi event decor ideas range from mela-style (fair-like) with tassels and umbrellas to elegant floral canopies and fairy lights.
How I Work
