About this collection
For this welcome lunch, we did not just set up a tent. We sourced authentic hand-blocked prints and worked with artisans to fabricate stone-look pillars, ensuring the space feels like a living history book rather than a standard event setup. We focus on balancing that grand palace aesthetic with an atmosphere intimate enough for your guests to connect, laugh, and dine comfortably.
The 'Rang Mahal' or 'Palace of Colors' concept is designed to immerse your guests the moment they arrive. We move away from the traditional, predictable welcome lunch by introducing a rich, layered palette of deep blues, vibrant yellows, and verdant greens. This design is built on the philosophy of 'zeenat' (beauty) and 'hifazat' (protection), where every visual element serves a purpose in the narrative.
The Architecture of Welcome
We utilize modular, hand-carved stone-effect columns to delineate space, creating a structured yet open-air environment. This allows us to break up large venues into cozy, conversational pockets. The ceiling is draped in patterned fabrics that mimic the grandeur of ancient Rajasthani courts, providing shade while adding texture to the overhead space.
Intimate Details
True luxury for us lies in the small things. We use handcrafted brass thalis for service, which grounds the opulence of the decor in tactile, authentic tradition. Tablescapes are accented with blue glass and local floral arrangements, ensuring that your dining area feels personal and curated. Even the buffet counters are integrated into the theme with painted jharokha (balcony) backdrops, ensuring no area breaks the spell of the design. This theme is ideal for couples who want their welcome ceremony to set a tone of heritage and warm, artistic celebration.
Neha Dua
We are Evolve Weddings. We believe a welcome lunch should set the tone for your entire celebration, transforming a simple meeting into an immersive entry into Rajasthani heritage. We don't just arrange flowers; we build a narrative through hand-blocked prints, brass accents, and authentic, structural storytelling.
