About Grand Celebration Cakes
Since I handle the on-site assembly for these tall cakes, I recommend we discuss your venue's space and timing at least two weeks before the party. It helps me ensure the fairy lights, acrylic spacers, and floral arrangements are set up perfectly before your guests arrive.
Making a grand cake isn't just about stacking sponge layers; it’s about engineering beauty. For these celebrations, I avoid heavy fondant coverings. Instead, I stick to my signature light whipping cream finish, which keeps the cake fresh, moist, and delicious—no matter how many tiers we go.
How I build your grand cake
- Structural Safety: For 3-tier cakes and above, I use internal doweling and professional-grade cake boards. You won't see them, but they keep the cake sturdy during transit and display.
- Spacer Magic: I love using clear acrylic spacers. We can fill them with fairy lights, fresh flowers, or custom themes to give the cake a 'floating' illusion that looks stunning in photos.
- On-Site Setup: If you are booking a large tiered cake in Mumbai, I personally come to your venue to assemble the final touches—like fresh roses or delicate toppers—so everything is pristine for your guests.
