From our home basement to being featured in Namya Magazine, this is the story of how our family’s passion for macrame turned into the Eshtyles journey.

I was so excited to be featured in the July 2024 issue of Namya magazine. This page features me and my husband, Deepak, and talks about our journey with Eshtyles.

The story of our first year in business, featured in Namya magazine. It talks about our challenges, our growth, and our commitment to quality.

This page from the magazine features the founder of Eshtyles, my mother-in-law Shashi Bala, and co-founder Anil Kumar. Their experience and passion are the foundation of our business.

Another feature from December 2023, telling the story of how Eshtyles started from our home basement. It's been an amazing journey.

About this collection

What you see in these articles isn't just about PR; it’s the honest story of how we moved from a small basement setup to creating handcrafted pieces for homes across India. Reading about our journey gives you a glimpse into the family behind your macrame—from my mother-in-law Shashi’s traditional techniques to our modern, sustainable approach.

Our Story: From Basement to Brand

Starting Eshtyles from a home basement in Faridabad wasn't just about starting a business; it was about keeping our hands busy and our spirits high. When we look back at our features in publications like Namya Magazine, we don't just see press clippings. We see the late nights, the knotted threads, and the support from our neighbors and friends that kept us going during our first year.

The Faces Behind the Knots

Eshtyles is truly a family affair. Our foundation is built on the shared experience of our team:

  • Shashi Bala (Founder): Her roots in Punjab and her lifetime of dedication to stitching and craft bring the traditional 'desi' touch that makes our macrame unique.
  • Anil Kumar (Co-Founder): He ensures our operations run smoothly, handling the day-to-day challenges of sourcing high-quality, eco-friendly cotton cords.
  • Esha Sethi & Deepak Sethi: We bring the modern perspective, blending IT-driven efficiency with a passion for sustainable lifestyle products.

Why Our Process Matters

We know that when you buy a macrame wall hanging or a personalized hamper, you are buying into a story. That is why we are transparent about our challenges. Balancing family duties with business schedules can be ajeeb-o-gareeb (a bit weird), but this honesty is what we believe helps us connect with you. We don't just sell products; we share the joy of handmade art. Whether you are looking for corporate gifting solutions or a custom piece for your home, know that every single knot is tied with the same attention to detail that we share in our media features.
