About Behind the Scenes: My Process & Passion
I don't use store-bought cones. My team and I mix our own organic henna 24 to 48 hours before your event to ensure the deepest, darkest stain possible. We often roll our own cones during travel, sometimes even on the local train, so you get fresh, safe, and vibrant paste the moment it touches your skin.
When you book me for your bridal mehendi, you are not just getting an artist, you are getting a team that is dedicated to the process. Whether I am traveling from Bhayandar to Mulund or meeting you in a different part of Mumbai, the preparation remains the same. My team and I focus on the 'Kulbulahat' or excitement of the day, making sure the environment is stress-free while we apply your henna.
Why Fresh Henna Matters
Using fresh, triple-sifted organic henna is non-negotiable. Because I mix the paste myself, I control the consistency, which is vital for the fine lines and shading that define my style. If you look closely at my work, you will see the results of this preparation in the rich, dark stain that develops after application.
My Process
- Consultation: We discuss your story, whether it is a city skyline or a pet portrait, so I can plan the design layout.
- Application: Depending on your package, this can take 5 to 10 hours. My team handles the guest mehendi so you can focus on relaxing.
- Customization: I love incorporating personal touches like calligraphy of your vows or unique symbols that represent your culture.
We bring everything we need to your location. My goal is to make your mehendi application a memorable part of your wedding celebrations, where you can sit back, have some chai, and watch your story unfold on your hands.
