Our Featured Impact & Journey
We started by picking up plastic on a mountain trek. Now, we turn waste into products that grab the attention of national leaders and help build a cleaner future.
This is where the magic happens. We take discarded plastic waste, shred it into colorful flakes, and transform it into durable, beautiful products like our signature benches and planters. Every item tells a story of waste turned into wonder.
Imagine gifting something that truly reflects your values. Our eco-conscious New Year gift kit is a complete set of sustainable goodies, including a plantable calendar, recycled paper pencils, and our unique recycled plastic decor, all packed without any plastic.
Our recycled plastic bookshelf is more than just furniture; it's a statement. Made from 5 kilograms of plastic waste, this sturdy and stylish piece can hold up to 25 books, making it a functional and impactful addition to any office or home.
Our journey started with a simple observation on a mountain trek and grew into a nationwide mission. From creating changing rooms for the Maha Kumbh to having our work gifted to the President of India, we are turning plastic waste into stories of impact.
We love working with companies that share our vision. Here is a look at us preparing a custom order of recycled plastic coasters for our client, Whistling Woods, complete with personalized branding and plantable seed paper notes.
Cultivate sustainability right on your desk. Our recycled plastic planters are perfect for adding a touch of green to your workspace. Available in various colors and unique marble patterns, they make for a thoughtful and eco-friendly corporate gift.
We were incredibly honored to win the UNDP YouthColab challenge for our work in the circular economy. This recognition fuels our passion to keep innovating and leading the way in sustainable entrepreneurship in India.
About this collection
We do not just make products, we build stories of transformation. From creating recycled plastic changing rooms for the Maha Kumbh to having our work gifted to the President of India, our projects are proof that trash can be treasure. Every piece here is a direct result of diverting plastic from landfills, proving that waste is only waste if we waste it.
Our Story: From Mountain Trek to National Impact
It all started with a walk in the mountains. We saw piles of plastic wrappers and decided to do something about it. Econscious began as a small experiment in our home, trying to figure out how to give discarded plastic a second life. We realized early on that to make a real difference, we had to think bigger. That led us to move beyond small decor pieces and into heavy-duty infrastructure like recycled benches and bookshelves.
Why Our Work Matters
When you see our work, you are not just looking at a bench or a planter. You are looking at a closed-loop system. We collect post-consumer plastic, shred it, and craft it into unique, marble-patterned products. No two pieces are ever exactly the same, because the 'recipe' of waste we get is always different.
Our journey has had its share of ups and downs. We have faced the challenges of being first-generation entrepreneurs, but winning the UNDP YouthColab challenge and seeing our products installed at events like MATECIA and the Maha Kumbh keeps us going. We have officially recycled over 3,50,000 kgs of plastic waste to date.
Let's Build Something Together
Whether you are a company looking for sustainable corporate gifting that aligns with your CSR goals or an individual wanting to add a touch of eco-conscious design to your space, we are here to help. We believe that small choices lead to big changes. If you are curious about how we can turn your company's plastic footprint into something useful, let us talk about it. Kyunki aur bhi kahaniyan baaki hain (because many more stories are left to be written).
Econscious
We are Sonal and Vaibhav, and Econscious is our daily grind and our dream. We are just a couple-founder duo who decided to stop ignoring the plastic problem and start fixing it. It is raw, it is hard work, but it is real impact.
