About this collection
Working with macrame cords and looms offers something different from drawing or painting. When your child knots a mirror frame or weaves a colorful wall hanging, they are developing fine motor skills, patience, and spatial awareness in a way that feels like play rather than a lesson. We ensure every knot and weave is guided, helping them see the immediate result of their effort.
Beyond the Canvas
At Amozish, we believe art should be tactile and sensory. While we love our painting sessions, our unique craft workshops allow children to experiment with different textures and materials. Whether it is macrame, loom weaving, or sand art, these activities teach children how to build objects from scratch, providing a sense of accomplishment that is hard to replicate with paper alone.
What We Cover
- Fiber Arts: We teach fundamental knotting techniques for macrame, helping students create functional items like keychains, mirror frames, and wall hangings.
- Loom Weaving: Kids learn to manipulate yarns and threads to create woven patterns, developing their dexterity and an eye for color combinations.
- Surface Design: We transform everyday items into art. This includes painting on umbrellas for the monsoon or customizing fabric tote bags, turning a plain surface into a personal masterpiece.
- Eco-Friendly Crafting: Our 'Best out of Waste' sessions challenge kids to look at household items like bottles or cartons as raw material, fostering creativity and a habit of sustainability.
Learning at the Studio
Our studio in Saraswati Vihar, Pitampura, is designed for small groups. This ensures that every child gets the one-on-one help they need to master complex techniques like intricate knotting or weaving patterns. We keep the environment messy and fun because that is where the best learning happens. If you are looking for a creative outlet that builds confidence and patience, our craft workshops are the perfect place to start.
Amozish
We are Amozish, a creative hub in Punjabi Bagh where we focus on hands-on learning. We skip the long lectures so kids can get straight to the messy, fun part of making things like macrame hangings and painted umbrellas.
