About Couple Portraits: Our Love Stories
When we do these couple portraits, I don’t just wait for the moment to happen; I actively direct it. To get that clean, cinematic look you see in my gallery, I usually ask for about 30 minutes of dedicated time during your event, away from the guest crowd. This allows me to guide your poses, fix the lighting, and ensure we capture those intimate, calm expressions that get lost in the middle of a loud party.
Great wedding portrait photography isn't just about standing in front of a camera; it is about finding the space to be yourselves while we handle the technical side. I believe that every couple has a unique dynamic—some are naturally playful, while others are more quiet and intense. My job is to recognize that energy and frame it.
Why Couple Portraits Matter
Beyond the event photography, these portraits are the stills that stay on your mantlepiece for years. I mix traditional posed shots, which are great for family albums, with candid, editorial-style photography that tells the story of your bond.
My Approach
- Direction: If you aren't comfortable in front of a camera, that is perfectly fine. I will guide you on how to stand, where to look, and even how to hold each other to make the frame look natural, not staged.
- Lighting: I pay close attention to light. Whether we are shooting a Roka in a banquet hall or a destination wedding in Dubai, I look for the pockets of light that add depth to the frame. Sometimes that means turning off a distracting hall light or moving you to a specific spot for the perfect shadow.
- Event Flexibility: We shoot these sessions across all your events—Roka, Sagan, Sangeet, and the main wedding day. If you have a specific venue, like a heritage hotel in Jaipur or a modern space in Delhi NCR, I will scope out the best spots in advance so we don’t waste your time during the function.
Ultimately, whether you want something dramatic and black-and-white or soft and romantic, we will make sure it reflects your personality.
