About Cinematic Love Stories: Couple Portraits
I dedicate a specific 45-minute golden hour slot during your event for these portraits. We skip the rigid, posed lineups and focus on movement and natural interaction, using the venue landscape—whether it is a heritage fort or a quiet garden—as an extension of your personality rather than just a backdrop.
Real chemistry does not happen on command. That is why I lean into a documentary approach for couple portraits. Instead of directing you into stiff, uncomfortable poses, I observe and guide, looking for those fleeting, honest expressions that make your relationship unique.
Whether we are shooting against the grand architecture of a destination venue or capturing a quiet, sun-drenched moment, my focus is on maintaining a moody, cinematic tone that honors the setting. I rely on natural light whenever possible to create a warm, soft glow. When we move indoors or into low-light environments, I use off-camera flash setups to keep the focus entirely on your connection, not on the equipment.
You will notice a deliberate lack of forced posing in my work. I believe the best portraits happen when you are relaxed and present. This is why I treat these portrait sessions as a time for you to catch your breath and connect with each other, rather than just another item on your wedding checklist.
I am based in Mumbai, but I travel across India for weddings where the light hits just right. If you have a location in mind that reflects your story, I am ready to document it.
