About Sagan, Roka & Engagement Ceremonies
During ring exchanges, I focus on framing the shot to isolate you from the crowd. I often direct the placement so your hands are positioned under the main light source, ensuring that even in a crowded hall, the detail of the ring and your expressions remain clear and sharp without distracting background elements.
Engagement ceremonies like Sagan or Roka events move quickly, and my approach is to blend into the background so you can actually enjoy the moment. I don’t believe in forcing stiff poses during the ceremony. Instead, I wait for the natural tension of the ring exchange or the relief you feel right after the ceremony ends to get the real shots.
My Approach to Engagement Shoots
- Focus on the Details: From the close-ups of the rings to the decor at venues like Oodles, I document the elements you spent months planning.
- Portraits that Matter: Before or after the chaos of guests, we carve out time for couple portraits. This is where I use the same editorial style I apply to main wedding days, ensuring you get images that look consistent with the rest of your wedding album.
- Light and Composition: Engagement venues often have tricky, multicolored LED lighting. I account for this by using specific lens settings to ensure skin tones look natural, not washed out by the neon lights typical of modern Sangeet or Sagan halls.
Whether it is an intimate Roka at home or a grand cocktail-style Sagan in Dubai, I am there to document the story exactly as it happens.
