About Destination Shoots: Indian Romance
For heritage shoots at locations like the Taj Mahal or the busy streets of Chandni Chowk, we strictly schedule sessions for sunrise. This is the only way to avoid heavy crowds, secure that soft golden hour light, and give you the freedom to pose naturally without strangers in your background. If you are planning an outstation shoot, we will coordinate with you on the best time of day for your specific location to ensure the results are cinematic and clean.
How We Approach Heritage Shoots
When we plan a destination shoot at a historic site, it is not just about the background. It is about how you interact with the space. We look for 'naya aarambh'—the feeling of a new beginning—in every frame.
Planning & Concept Before we travel, we discuss your outfits and the vibe of the location. A heavy lehenga might look great at the Taj Mahal but will be difficult to manage in the narrow, rustic lanes of Old Delhi. We guide you on outfit colors that will pop against these specific backdrops.
The Shoot Experience I am hands-on during the session. If you need to stand a certain way to get that perfect light, I will tell you. It might feel direct, but it is necessary to move from a casual snapshot to a magazine-style portrait. We also incorporate drone videography at most outstation locations to capture the scale of the landscape and the emotion between you.
Practical Details
- Logistics: For outstation heritage shoots, the client covers travel, accommodation, and any monument entry or photography permit fees.
- Deliverables: We provide both retouched high-resolution images and a cinematic film. Your raw footage is typically ready in a few days, while final edits take 3-4 weeks.
- Film Style: Our films are not just montages. We use voiceovers and licensed music to tell your unique story, combining the stillness of your portraits with the movement of your journey.
