Shooting at heritage locations is a logistical puzzle that we have refined over time. We bring a small, agile team to these sites, using the Nikon Zf for its low-light performance and detail, along with drones to capture the scale of palaces against the landscape.
When we scout a location, we are looking for the interplay of light and shadow in architectural features like jharokhas and courtyards. We do not just stand you in front of a wall; we use the geometry of these historic sites to frame your connection. For clients, this means arriving well before sunrise, adjusting for natural light cycles, and often working around restricted zones where tripods or large setups are not permitted.
Our approach is grounded in cinematography. We blend candid couple photography with movement-based videography. Whether you are walking through the ruins of Rajasthan or sitting by the reflection pool of the Taj Mahal, we direct you to interact with the space, resulting in images that feel raw and cinematic rather than staged. Please note that travel and accommodation for our team of three are required for outstation heritage shoots, and site permission fees are typically handled by the client.
