About Draping Masterclasses & Training
Draping is an Emotion
For me, saree draping is more than just a skill - it’s pure feeling. Every saree brings its own story, ek alag vibe (a different vibe). I started Draping Tejas to share this passion with anyone who wants to feel confident in every pleat.
What My Masterclass Feels Like
I run intensive, hands-on draping training, not just demos. You’ll get personal attention, whether you’re fixing pleats from andar se (inside) or learning how to make your pallu sit just right. Expect me to guide you at every step - no hiding behind theory.
What We Cover
- Day 1: Basics - saree draping techniques, fabric types, prepping pleats, care tips.
- Day 2: Dive into regional draping styles - Nauvari, Bengali, Gujarati, South Indian Half Saree. We also touch on modern looks and bridal saree draping.
- Day 3: Pure practice. You’ll try all the styles yourself, get feedback, and leave with a certificate you’ve earned.
- I sometimes run quick 1 or 2-day workshops just for specific styles.

My Story
Hi, I’m Tejas. Saree isn’t just cloth for me, it’s pure power and adaa (grace). I mix tradition with a twist – you’ll find me draping a Maharashtrian Nauvari and grooving to English beats. Teaching gives me a khoop chaan (so nice) feeling. My Draping Tejas Academy started from wanting to share everything – basic fabrics, royal bridal looks, and building a gang who loves this art as much as I do.
My Work
Saree & Lehenga Draping Services - I drape sarees in styles like Maharashtrian Nauvari, South Indian, and modern fusion looks. Lehenga dupatta too.
Fusion & Classic Draping Styles - From Infinity saree draping to Fish-Cut styles, I create bold, elegant, and royal looks for any event.
Personalised Approach - Every pleat is a story. I match the drape to your vibe and the occasion, whether bridal or casual.
Saree Draping Masterclass - My workshops cover everything – theory, fabric types, tools, pre-pleating, and lots of hands-on practice.
