Saree Draping Masterclasses & Industry Events
I love sharing the art of the perfect drape, whether on stage at a masterclass or behind the scenes at a high-profile industry event.
The award itself. I was named 'The Saree Sculptor' by Pearle Productions, a title I will cherish forever. I am so grateful for this honor.
On stage at The Glam Up Studio's airbrush masterclass with the team. I was responsible for creating the stunning bridal saree drape for the model.
A behind the scenes look at the masterclass, showing me draping the model in a heavy gold Kanchipuram saree in front of a live audience.
The final campaign video from the masterclass. The perfectly draped saree looks magnificent under the studio lights.
More footage from the masterclass, showing my on stage draping process and final adjustments.
A recap of the entire masterclass event. It was a wonderful experience collaborating with so many talented artists.
I was truly honored to be included in this special event by makeup artist Vikas VKS. Sharing the stage with such inspiring people was a memorable experience.
Creating a live bridal look for a one day makeup seminar in Thrissur with Parvathyraj's Makeup Studio. It is always exciting to demonstrate my techniques to an eager audience.
About Awards, Masterclasses & Events
When I am on stage at a masterclass, I am not just draping; I am explaining the tension, the pleat alignment, and the safety measures for the fabric in real time. It is a completely different energy compared to a private bridal session, as every fold must be structurally perfect for the audience to follow and for cameras to capture.
Receiving the 'Saree Sculptor' award from Pearle Productions was a significant milestone, but the real thrill for me is the classroom setting. I have spent years perfecting techniques like no-heat pleating, and I love demonstrating these methods at makeup seminars and bridal masterclasses.
When I collaborate with artists like the teams at The Glam Up Studio or Parvathyraj's Makeup Studio, the focus is on seamless integration. The drape must support the makeup, the jewellery, and the hairstyle. I often handle heavy Kanchipuram silks or delicate nets in front of a live audience, where there is no room for error. Every rust-free pin and fashion tape placement is intentional, designed to keep the garment secure under studio lights for hours. If you are looking for an expert to add a professional touch to your event, workshop, or brand campaign, I am ready to bring that precision to your project.
