About Featured
When I drape for a shoot, I avoid harsh heat entirely. I use a specialized no-heat technique for center pleats that keeps even delicate silks crisp and flawless without damaging the fabric. Whether it is a heavy Kanchipuram or a soft satin, my goal is a silhouette that looks sharp under studio lights and stays perfect throughout the event.
The Art of a Perfect Drape
My process starts long before the camera starts rolling. I inspect every garment for existing defects and use steam-ironing methods that protect the integrity of the fabric. For commercial shoots and brand campaigns, I work closely with creative directors to ensure the drape aligns with the specific mood board, be it a structured, high-fashion look or a fluid, natural fall.
On-Set Reliability
I do not just style and leave. My service includes on-set management where I monitor the pleats, pallu, and silhouette between takes. I use concealed, rust-free pins and fashion tape to keep everything secure, even against powerful studio fans. This ensures you spend your time focusing on your performance or the shoot's vision, not worrying about a slip-up.
Versatile Styles for Every Occasion
While I specialize in editorial and celebrity styling, I bring the same rigor to every client. From classic Kerala Kasavu drapes to intricate fusion styles like the Reverse Mermaid or Dhoti drape, I adapt my technique to suit your specific garment and event. Whether you are prepping for a magazine cover, a bridal shoot, or a family function, I am available to travel across Kerala and beyond to ensure your saree look is nothing short of adipoli.
