About The Un-Trainable Programme
This is not a generic template you download and guess your way through. The Un-Trainable Programme is a living system that tracks your lifting and conditioning sessions via our app, allowing me or Coach Tom Hales to review your logs and adjust your load in real-time. Whether you are traveling for work with only hotel gym equipment or working out in a full facility, we ensure your programming adapts to your reality, not the other way around.
How the System Works
Most fitness programmes fail because they are rigid. They assume you have the perfect gym, perfect time, and perfect energy every single day. The Un-Trainable Programme is built on the reality that life is messy.
The Core Split
Our system is built on a 3+2 structure:
- 3 Lifting Days: Focused on compound movements and hypertrophy to build structural integrity.
- 2 Conditioning Days: Targeted cardiorespiratory work to develop your aerobic engine.
These sessions are not set in stone. If your week gets derailed by work or travel, the programme adapts. We adjust volume and intensity based on your daily readiness.
Why It’s Different
- Evidence-Based Load Management: We don’t guess. We use metrics like RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) and RIR (Reps in Reserve) to ensure you are training hard enough to elicit a physiological adaptation, but not so hard that you break.
- Expert Oversight: You are not training alone. Through the app, you get direct feedback on your training logs. If your squat pattern is off or your conditioning volume is causing excessive fatigue, we tweak it.
