Behind the Scenes of My DJ Sets & Workshops
Music is about more than just hitting play. Whether I am at a wedding or teaching a new student, I am always looking for the fun side of the beat.
My kind of babysitting! This little one was curious about the decks, so I gave him his very first mini DJ lesson. It’s a reminder that music is for everyone and learning should always be this joyful.
About Behind the Scenes & Fun Moments
It is not always serious business behind the console. From helping a toddler discover their first beat to keeping the energy up when the party moves to a smaller monitor, I believe the best DJ experiences happen when you stop overthinking and just enjoy the music.
People often think DJing is just about standing behind a laptop and pressing buttons, but it is a performance art. When I give DJ lessons, I do not just teach beatmatching or how to use a Pioneer V10 mixer. I teach how to read a room, handle a request from someone’s uncle, and how to keep the floor moving even when things do not go exactly to plan.
The image you see here of a toddler trying their hand at the decks? That is my teaching philosophy in a nutshell. Whether you are a total beginner or a corporate team looking for a fun workshop, we strip away the intimidation. You get hands-on time with professional gear like the Traktor X1 MK3, but we do it with the same energy I bring to weddings in Jaipur or private parties in Bali. Learning to mix should be as fun as playing the music itself. If you want to master the art of the vibe, let us get started.
