I use industry-standard gear like Pioneer CDJ 2000s or 3000s paired with the DJM 900 mixer to ensure the sound is crisp and the transitions are seamless. For me, playing music is not just about queuing tracks; it is about controlling the flow of the room.
When you book my trio setup, I bring that same intensity to a live band format. You get a professional percussionist on djembe and congas, a drummer on a full acoustic kit, and me handling the DJ deck. We mix recorded tracks with live rhythmic improvisation, creating a fusion that feels like a club night but with the energy of a live gig.
