People often think DJing is a solo act, but the real magic happens when I share the console with my fellow Bangalore artists. Whether it is a back-to-back set at Skydeck or prepping playlists in Rekordbox before the doors open, those technical handshakes and shared energy are what keep the night feeling fresh from start to finish.
Being a DJ in Bangalore is about community as much as it is about the music. I love connecting with the local scene, from sharing high-energy sets with friends like DJ Prithvi to learning from mentors like DJ Ravi. It is about that unspoken language we share on stage when the bass drops.
Beyond the fun, there is real work involved. I spend hours analyzing tracks in Rekordbox and tailoring my playlists to the specific vibe of each venue. I always travel with my own headphones and backup laptop, ensuring the music never stops no matter what happens on the dancefloor.
