How I Build a Set
It starts before I even step into the venue. I don't believe in generic, pre-recorded mixes. Every crowd is different. If I’m at a club in Indiranagar, I might start with deep, steady beats to get the mood right before transitioning into high-energy Bollywood remixes or commercial hits. If it’s a festival set, we’re going straight for heavy bass, techno, or big room EDM to match the scale of the sound system.
My Approach to Your Event
- Versatility is key: My catalog spans everything from Bollywood and Punjabi hits to Hip-Hop, Commercial, and Techno. I can shift gears instantly depending on how the crowd is reacting.
- Crowd Reading: A good DJ isn't just playing music; they're managing the room. I pay attention to when people are heading to the bar, when they're getting tired, and when they're ready for the peak hour madness. That's when I drop the hype.
- Technical Readiness: I always bring my own headphones and backup laptop. For club nights, I work with standard industry equipment like Pioneer CDJs. For larger festival gigs, I’m comfortable managing visual assets and syncing with LED walls and production teams.
