About this collection
When I step up to the console, I am not just hitting play. I read the room in real-time, switching between UK Punjabi bangers, Bollywood retro, and high-tempo Afro-house based on who is on the floor. If you need me to bridge the gap between your chacha and the younger crowd, I do that by dropping tracks that click with everyone. My sets are fully interactive, and I always keep the mic ready to keep the energy high from the first beat to the last.
More Than Just a DJ Set
I don't believe in just standing behind a deck. Whether you are hosting a Sangeet, a Holi bash, or a massive wedding reception, I bring a full audio-visual experience. This isn't just about the music; it is about the synchronisation. I mix music videos live on big LED screens, ensuring the visuals hit every beat drop.
My Technical Setup
I perform using a high-end Pioneer Nexus setup with a MacBook Pro running Rekordbox. If you opt for the VDJ experience, I use high-performance gear to sync custom motion graphics and couple monograms with my audio sets. For these setups, I need a high-resolution LED wall (P3 or P4 is perfect) and a stable video processor. I always arrive 60 minutes early for a thorough sound check because the last thing we need is a technical glitch when the party starts.
The Fusion Factor
Want something different? I frequently collaborate with live percussionists and violinists. We jam live—creating a 'jugalbandi' that bridges the gap between electronic backing tracks and organic, live instruments. It adds a deep bass resonance that makes the Sangeet night feel like a concert rather than a standard party.
Travelling for the Beat
My home base is the studio, but my office is everywhere. I travel across India for weddings, from Jaipur to Kolkata and Delhi to Pune. I know the grind of travel, the late nights, and the sleeplessness that comes with it, but that is the sacrifice for making sure your event soundtrack is absolute fire.
