My ladies' nights at Hungry Hippie aren't just about playing tracks. I actively use the mic to hype up the crowd, announce bar offers, and sync the vibe with the bar traffic. When you're on my dance floor, you aren't just a guest; you're part of the set. 😇
Running a ladies' night takes more than a playlist. It is about building a rhythm that respects the mid-week vibe while keeping the energy high enough for a proper party. Whether it is High Heels Wednesdays or Smash Sundays at The Boozy Griffin and Hungry Hippie, my goal is the same: creating a safe, electric atmosphere where the ladies own the floor.
I blend commercial hits with heavy doses of Punjabi and Bollywood bangers. It is not just loud music. I watch the bar traffic. If the floor is packed, I keep the BPM high. If people are hitting the bar, I switch to tracks that let them catch their breath before pulling them back in.
