About Event Showcase
My sets aren’t just about playing tracks. I read the room. If the energy dips, I shift the tempo. Whether it’s a packed Saturday night at Hungry Hippie or a Wednesday ladies' night, my goal is to keep the floor moving until the lights go out. It’s a mix of reading the crowd’s pulse and knowing exactly when to drop the bass.
Running a residency means more than just showing up with a laptop. It means knowing the venue—how the sound travels, where the bar traffic peaks, and how to keep that momentum from 8 PM until closing.
I spend my time oscillating between high-octane commercial sets, pure Punjabi anthems, and the odd Bolly-tech experimental session. My focus is always on the crowd. I don't follow a rigid sequence because a static playlist kills the mood.
When I host events like the Bollywood Festival or High Heels Wednesdays in Koramangala, I’m managing the MCing, keeping the crowd hyped, and ensuring the music matches the bar offers. If you’re looking to book a night that actually stays busy, that’s what I bring to the table. Let’s talk about your event goals.
DJ Skydee
I’ve been spinning since 2000. It’s not just work; it’s my way of hunting goals and finding that joy inside. I don’t promise perfection, but I promise a night where the dance floor doesn't stop.
