About Behind the Decks: My Craft
People see the final set, but the real craft is in the transition. I do not just play tracks; I manage the energy arc, moving from a 110 BPM deep house lounge build-up to a 122 BPM high-energy peak using industry-standard Pioneer CDJ-3000 setups.
Whether I am behind the console at Game Palacio in Palladium or the booth at Decibel.44, the equipment is my extension. I insist on using Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 setups because the crowd feels the difference when the transitions are seamless. It is not just about the playlist; it is about reading the room. If the energy dips, I do not just hit skip. I pivot the set, whether that involves bringing in more Afro-House grooves or dropping a Bollywood edit that gets the floor moving instantly. My workspace is a MacBook Pro and a mixer, but the real tool is understanding the crowd pulse in real-time. I have spent years learning how to control the room, ensuring the vibe keeps building from the first beat to the last drop. When you hire a professional for Mumbai nightlife or private events, you need someone who understands the technical demands of the venue and the emotional demands of the audience. If you want a party that keeps buzzing, you need a set that is custom-mixed, not just pre-recorded.
