The 'Come Closer' concept isn't just a tagline. I actively remove stage barriers at my events, bringing my console right into the heart of the crowd so you, your family, and your friends feel the heartbeat of the music alongside me. When I bring the Basti Crew for live percussion, we do not just perform; we feed off the energy of the dance floor, making the experience raw, real, and completely immersive.

When you see me on stage, you are not just watching a guy press play. You are seeing 28 years of experience in real-time decision-making. My collaborations with the Basti Crew are built on this exact premise—improvisation.
Whether it is the rhythmic thumping of the Dhol, the sharp beats of the Djembe, or a fusion remix with artists like the Midival Punditz, I believe music is a conversation. I don't follow a rigid playlist. I read the room, look at who is dancing, and cue my percussionists to shift the tempo. This live DJ and percussion fusion is what turns a standard sangeet or reception into a concert-level experience.
The 'Come Closer' Philosophy
For years, I noticed a physical gap between the DJ and the guests. I hated that wall. My setup is specifically designed to bridge it. By bringing the console to the floor, I am right there with you. It changes the dynamic entirely. You aren't watching a performer; you are participating in the party.
What You Need to Know
If you are planning to book this fusion setup, keep in mind:
- Space Requirements: We need a little more room than a standard console setup to accommodate the Basti Crew and their instruments comfortably.
- Setup Time: Since we do a full sound check for live instruments alongside the digital console, we usually require 2-3 hours of access to the venue before your guests arrive.
- Versatility: We move from high-energy Bollywood baraat mixes to deep, late-night techno depending on the vibe you and your guests are chasing.
