Behind the Decks: How I Build Your Perfect Wedding Vibe
Getting the dance floor moving isn't about hitting play on a playlist. It’s about reading the room, mixing live, and dropping the right beat at the exact right moment.
A shot from my birthday celebration last year, doing what I love. I'm grateful for another year of being able to share my passion for music.
A black and white shot of me in the zone, dropping beats and raising the energy. This is my focus during a live performance.
Owning the moment and making it legendary. A candid clip of me enjoying the music and the vibe of the party from behind the console.
That feeling when the DJ drops your favorite track. A black and white, slow-motion clip capturing the pure magic of a great music moment.
Switching it up to Punjabi style. A close-up of me working the mixer and getting the crowd hyped for the next track.
A daytime pool party setup. I believe in having a good time, and my job is to make sure your mind is free to enjoy the music and the moment.
Choose joy and spread positivity. A candid shot of me with my headphones, ready for a pool party set in Udaipur.
A fun moment from a Holi event. Covered in colors and still dropping the beats, I bring the party no matter the occasion.
Just me having a bit of fun and jumping on a trend. It's important to have a laugh and not take everything too seriously.
Dressed sharp, thoughts sharper. Taking a moment to relax before a big event, but always thinking about the music.
About Behind the Decks
Behind these photos is my standard performance setup—a professional Pioneer DJ console, MacBook Pro, and a library of custom edits. When I’m at the mixer, I’m not just playing songs; I’m reading the crowd’s energy, dropping live mashups, and switching from 90s Bollywood nostalgia to heavy techno to keep the floor packed. I don't just spin; I curate the night's momentum so you and your guests don't stop dancing.
It starts with the crowd. Whether it’s a sangeet in Delhi or a destination wedding in Udaipur, I watch the floor closely. If the energy dips, I drop a dhol-infused remix. If the late-night crowd wants to rave, I lean into Afro House and Techno. This is live mixing, not pre-recorded sets.
My Approach to Your Event
- Live Mixing: I bring my own Pioneer DJ gear and a customized MacBook Pro library to every gig. You’re paying for a performance, not a background playlist. Every transition is mixed in real-time.
- The Vibe: I collaborate with percussionists for live jugalbandi, blending electronic beats with live dhol or drums. This adds a layer of depth that a standard DJ just can't match.
- Crowd Interaction: I handle the MCing to keep the flow alive, direct the baraat with my mobile DJ truck, and coordinate with your sound team to make sure every transition is crisp.
If you’re looking for a DJ who understands the rhythm of an Indian wedding—from the first entry to the final after-party track—my focus is on making sure your wedding sounds exactly like you imagined.
