Bharatanatyam is more than a performance for me, it is a spiritual practice. This collection offers a glimpse into my world, where traditional rigor meets the pure joy of movement.

This is a moment from my solo performance at the Mumbai Natyanjali festival. For me, every pose is a blend of energy and stillness, an offering to Lord Nataraja. This particular stance, with arms raised, signifies a connection to the divine, a core element of my Bharatanatyam practice.

This is a short clip from my performance of 'Rangapura Vihara', a classic piece in praise of Lord Rama. You can see the dynamic footwork and expressive Abhinaya that bring the story to life. Performing such compositions is a key part of the repertoire my students and I explore.

This is my dance family. Following the Guru-Shishya Parampara, we are more than just a class; we are a community that learns, rehearses, and celebrates together. This photo was taken during our annual Dussehra Puja, a cherished tradition in our school.

Abhinaya, or the art of expression, is the soul of Bharatanatyam. In this moment, I am portraying a specific emotion from a story, using hand gestures (mudras) and facial expressions. In my classes, we focus deeply on these storytelling techniques to make the dance meaningful.

Dancing at the Peringottukara Devasthanam in Kerala was a truly divine experience. The sacred ambiance of a temple adds a profound depth to the performance. This clip shows a piece from the Lalitha Sahasranamam, where the dance becomes a form of prayer.

Here you can see me practicing Nattuvangam, the art of rhythmically conducting a dance performance using cymbals. This was a special moment for me, as I was doing Nattuvangam for my own Guru's performance. I also offer specialized workshops in Nattuvangam and Konnakol for advanced students.

Namaskaram. This is a personal invitation to one of my performances. I believe in connecting directly with my audience and students, sharing the journey of each performance. This video gives you a glimpse into my practice space and my excitement before a show.

About Featured

Bharatanatyam is rarely just about steps for me. Whether we are in the studio or performing, I prioritize the storytelling behind the movement. My classes are structured around the Guru-Shishya tradition, meaning you get mentorship that focuses on the emotional depth of Abhinaya and the rhythmic precision of Nattuvangam rather than just rote memorization.
