Rajasthani & Traditional Mehendi Artistry
Classic mehendi is more than just patterns, it is a celebration of our culture. My focus is on the 'baariki', the fine detailing that makes traditional Rajasthani motifs and architectural designs truly stand out on your hands.
A beautiful design inspired by royal Rajasthani architecture, featuring jharokhas and peacocks. The fine net-like patterns ('jaali') add to the intricate look.
This design showcases a variety of traditional elements, including peacocks, elephants, and auspicious symbols like 'Shubh' and 'Labh'.
A classic design for the palm featuring a grand, decorated elephant under a royal archway. The fingers are detailed with delicate, traditional patterns.
A bold design featuring a horse on one palm and an elephant on the other, symbols of strength and royalty. The bride's name, 'Panna', is also subtly included.
A single-hand design showcasing a beautiful floral mandala on the palm and an elephant motif on the wrist, perfect for an engagement or for a bridesmaid.
This design combines floral mandalas with peacock and elephant motifs. The mix of bold and fine lines creates a balanced and visually appealing look.
A full-arm design in progress, showing how the green henna paste transforms into a beautiful piece of art. This design features a bride figure and a royal elephant.
About this collection
When I work on a traditional Rajasthani piece, I ensure the jaali (net) work is perfectly symmetrical. Most people rush the spacing, but I take my time because that precision is exactly what ensures the final design doesn't look cluttered once the colour sets in.
The beauty of traditional Rajasthani mehendi lies in the details. Whether you are looking for classic peacock motifs, floral mandalas, or the intricate architectural arches found in royal palaces, my goal is to bring that timeless elegance to your hands. I do not just apply henna, I focus on the balance between bold lines and fine, net-like patterns to ensure the design remains clean and readable.
For traditional designs, I exclusively use natural organic henna. There are no chemicals, just the right mix of essential oils to ensure that deep red stain you see in my photos. It is my guarantee. I usually start with the main focal points, like elephants or temple domes, and build the finer floral fillers around them. This technique prevents the design from looking messy.
If you have a specific venue theme or a wedding outfit style in mind, tell me. We can adapt these traditional elements to match the vibe of your event, whether it is an intimate engagement in Malleshwaram or a large wedding celebration elsewhere in Bengaluru. I am happy to travel to your venue and make sure everything is perfect for your ceremony.
