Bring the blessings of gods and goddesses to your wedding. I create intricate, respectful portraits of deities that turn your bridal mehendi into a piece of fine art.

A divine love story like Shiv and Parvati." This portrait on the back of the hand captures the divine couple in a serene, artistic style.

A powerful portrait of Lord Ganesha to begin the festivities, paired with a beautiful bride figure on the palm. This design is perfect for seeking blessings.

A full bridal design featuring the divine couple Radha and Krishna, alongside a depiction of the bride and groom's varmala ceremony.

A stunning close-up reveal of Radha and Krishna portraits on the palms. The level of detail in their expressions and ornaments is what I strive for in my art.

This design combines a beautiful Radha-Krishna portrait with a personal touch, a handwritten mantra or quote requested by the bride.

A simple yet powerful Ganesha portrait on the back of the hand, with the 'Om' symbol. This is a great option for grooms or family members.

A unique design blending portraits of a couple on the palms with symbols of their faith, including a depiction of a temple and other religious motifs.

About this collection

When I draw deities like Radha-Krishna, Shiva-Parvati, or Ganesha, I focus on capturing their expressions and ornaments with absolute precision. Because these designs are highly detailed, I personally oversee the shading and linework. If you want this style, I recommend booking our free home demo in Bangalore first. It allows us to sketch a small patch and ensure the design feels right for your skin and the story you want to tell before we commit to the full bridal session.

My Approach to Divine Art

I view mythological mehendi as more than just a pattern. It is a way to invite spiritual blessings and tell a story that connects with your traditions. Whether you want the serene, romantic aura of Radha-Krishna or the strong, auspicious presence of Ganesha, I ensure the proportions are balanced and the 'baariki' (fine detailing) is sharp.

The Process & Customisation

  • Consultation: We start by discussing which deities or scenes hold the most meaning for you. You might want a specific mantra, a depiction of a temple, or a blend of religious symbols.
  • Precision Sketching: I begin with a light sketch on your palm or forearm. This ensures the anatomy and jewellery details are perfect before I apply the henna.
  • The Stain: My promise is 'Hara lagate hain aur laal nikalta hai' (we apply green, it comes out red). I use 100% organic, natural henna. For these heavy portrait pieces, I use a premium essential oil mix that guarantees a deep, dark maroon stain that lasts.

What to Expect

  • Time Investment: Portrait and mythological work is complex. For my Signature Portrait package, please set aside 5 to 6 hours. This is not just mehendi; it is a collaborative art session.
  • Aftercare: Because I include lemon and sugar sealant, you need to be patient. Avoid water contact for at least 8 hours after the application to allow the stain to mature into that rich, festive red colour.
  • Coverage: We can extend these designs from your palms up to your elbows, or even higher, depending on the scale of the story we are telling.

If you have a specific scene from a temple or a favourite religious motif, show it to me during the demo. I can adapt almost any image into a mehendi-friendly design.
