See how your design comes to life. From the first sketch to the final shade, this is the 'baariki' that defines my work.

Every grand design starts with a single line. This video shows the process of building up a complex arm piece from a simple outline.

A glimpse of me in my element. Concentration and a steady hand are key to creating the sharp, clean lines my work is known for.

Here you can see the application of an elephant motif. Each section is carefully filled to create texture and depth.

From outline to masterpiece. Watch as a simple sketch of an elephant is transformed into a detailed and shaded work of art.

About this collection

When I work on your hands, I do not just apply henna. I map out every curve and line before the cone touches your skin. You can see the sketching process here because I want you to know exactly how your portrait or motif is built. It is all about the planning—the pressure, the steady hand, and the patience to get that perfect, deep red stain later.

Mehendi is not magic; it is hours of steady hands. When you see me sketching a palace arch or a royal elephant, you are seeing the foundation of a good stain. If the outline is not right, the stain will not pop.

The Importance of Baariki

I call it 'baariki'—the fine detailing that separates a good design from a great one.

  • The Sketch: I always start with a light outline. This is crucial for symmetry. Whether it is a portrait of the couple or a traditional mandala, the proportions must be perfect.
  • The Flow: Notice how the motifs connect. In my process, I ensure that the negative space works with the heavy filler. This prevents the mehendi from looking cluttered.
  • The Stain: I use premium essential oil mixes and natural henna. You see me applying lemon and sugar sealant in the videos; that is the final step to lock in the colour.

Whether I am working at a studio in Malleshwaram or traveling to your venue in Bangalore, the process remains the same. I do not rush, because you are wearing this art on one of the most important days of your life. If you want a custom design, I start by understanding your story, then I sketch the elements, and finally, we fill it in with the 'baariki' my clients love.

Namaskara, I am Dinesh. I treat every hand as a blank canvas and my cones as my brushes. I love the challenge of turning your love story into a detailed piece of art that stays with you long after the wedding is over.
