About Regal Sherwanis & Wedding Attire

Getting the right look for your wedding isn't just about picking a design. When we work on your sherwani, we focus on the structure—using high-quality interlining to hold the weight of heavy embroidery—and conduct 2-3 trial sessions to nail the shoulder fall and chest fit. My goal is to ensure you don't just wear the outfit, but feel completely comfortable and confident in it from the first ceremony to the last photo.

The Art of the Sherwani

A sherwani is the centerpiece of your wedding ensemble. Whether you are looking for a heavy Zardosi-worked piece for the main ceremony or something understated in Raw Silk for the day, my focus remains on the silhouette. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all. We start by selecting premium fabrics—Velvet, Jacquard, or Silk—that match the season and the venue's vibe.

Why the Fit Matters

You have likely heard me talk about 'fitting-vitting' being essential. This is not just a catchphrase; it is our technical process. Heavy embroidery adds weight to the garment, which can pull at the shoulders or buckle the chest if not structured correctly. We use high-quality fusing and interlining to ensure the coat sits perfectly on your frame, maintaining its shape throughout the long hours of wedding rituals.

Complete Grooming

Beyond the sherwani, I help you pull the entire look together. From finding the right stole length to selecting a safa (turban) that complements your facial structure, we handle the accessories in-house. We look at everything:

  • Base Layers: Matching silk-blend kurta and Churidar or Aligarhi pyjama.
  • Accessories: Handcrafted Mojaris, detailed brooches, and embroidered stoles.
  • Trial Process: We schedule 2-3 fittings to adjust sleeve lengths and waist suppression, ensuring that by the time you step out, the outfit feels like a second skin.
