About Designer Indo-Western & Jodhpuri Styles

Getting the fit right is the hardest part of ethnic wear, which is why I personally oversee two to three trial sessions for every Jodhpuri and Indo-Western set. We focus on shoulder fall and waist suppression to ensure the jacket moves naturally with you. Whether you opt for a structured Bandhgala or a bold asymmetrical cut, this process ensures the outfit feels custom-made from the moment you put it on.

My approach to Indo-Western fashion is about blending the old with the new. I do not just copy trends. I work with you to understand the event context, be it a Sangeet, Mehendi, or a cocktail night, and choose fabrics that hold their structure well, like premium terry-rayon blends or textured jacquards.

Style Variations

  • Bandhgala (Jodhpuri): The classic choice. I focus on clean, sharp lines, often adding subtle velvet detailing on collars or pocket welts for a modern touch.
  • Asymmetrical Cuts: For a more contemporary look, I create high-low hemlines and side-buttoned achkans. These are designed to stand out in a crowd.
  • Layered Ensembles: I often pair these jackets with breeches or dhoti pants, giving you a silhouette that is distinct from a standard kurta-pyjama.

The Tailoring Process

Everything starts at my studio in Tilak Nagar. We sit down, look at fabrics, and decide on the cut. I use high-quality fusing for internal structure, which is vital for that crisp, premium look. If you are shopping for a group or groomsmen, I can coordinate the designs so the whole team looks sharp while maintaining your unique style. My goal is to make sure that when you step out, the outfit does not just look good—it fits perfectly.
